What is stopping the session?

Start / launch

Check the affected device first.

On PC, compare the actual hardware and Windows version with the published requirements. Identify whether you are opening the Demo or full game before applying version-specific steps.

Compare the full PC requirements

Using the Demo? The Demo crash guide gives the supported, reversible next checks.

Partner / pairing

Confirm the platform pair and game title.

Compare the exact game name and platform on both sides, then check the announced pairing. Keep the Demo and full release distinct, and use the current official instructions for invitations.

Check the platform combination

After that, run the two setup lists. Announced crossplay support does not test your current connection.

Sound / voice

Test the two directions separately.

A says a short phrase and B repeats it; swap roles. If only one direction fails, check that speaker's microphone and that listener's output.

Trace the complete voice path

The voice guide also explains the developer-described waveform, X and proximity feedback.

Information / perspective

Agree on one landmark before acting.

Each player describes one visible detail, then the other repeats what they understood. Different views are part of the asymmetric design, so start by comparing information.

Use the information handoff

This is a communication check, not a room-specific puzzle solution.

This selector is a guide to your next check. It does not read server status, test your network or diagnose a live session.

Keep the evidence useful when a check fails.

Note the title, Demo/full-release version, each platform, the exact message and what happens on each side. Add the one change you tried and whether it changed the result. That is more useful than a long list of unrelated fixes.

Do not include passwords, account tokens or private information in a public report. The issue-report template and official support destination can help organize a clear next step.
