Pick shared words before the session.
The game's conversation is a separate decision from the language list. Choose a spoken language you can both use, then agree simple words for directions, shapes, colors and positions. The two-way phrase check tests whether you can hear and repeat one another.
If you prefer different written terminology, describe an object's visible features before relying on a name. “The circle above the two lines” is a communication example, not a clue from a verified room. A shared landmark and a repeat-back often prevent two descriptions of the same object being mistaken for different objects.
If either player depends on full game audio in a particular language, check that feature before buying. Do not treat interface-language support as a translation service for your conversation.
